Derek Lowe(2-1) and Jason Johnson(1-3) treated the Tombstone fans to a fine pitching duel at the ballpark. The Tombstone Huckleberries eventually emerged as victors over the Burbank Tigers by the score of 2 to 1. Tombstone scored 1 run in the bottom of the 3rd inning. That early scoring held up. After the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score. Armando Benitez recorded the save, his 7th. 'After the stretch we have been through lately, this victory is especially sweet' offered Doug Salzwedel. Now, we just have to make this the norm - not the exception!'
